Day 1
Arrived in Kathmandu
Wonderful to be back in Kathmandu. The Himalayan Ranges are spectacular as you fly into Nepal and the share delight at seeing this magnificent sight has not waned.
Erin Pope who is joining our group arrived later this afternoon and it was surreal seeing her walk through the foyer with her backpack and cooking pots. She has been travelling since July and experienced amazing adventures along the way.
Erin has recently been involved with an agricultural project linked to an organisation called Upside in the Mustang Region of Nepal.
We will be meeting up with Kira and Nina on Tuesday and then all boarding the bus to Pokhara Wednesday where time will be spent at Hands with Hands -Annapurna Childrens Self-Sustaining Orphanage. The opportunity to see their progress towards self-sustainability is very exciting. Look forward to sharing that with you.
